Overview:
Our client is the largest educator-only pension fund in the world who has embarked on an effort (Pension Solution Implementation Project) to replace its current pension administration system, which is the custom-built pension administration system that client currently uses to manage and administer the Retirement Plan for employers, members, participants and their beneficiaries of the State.
Client has also implemented the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning software to provide general ledger, investment accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, travel management, cash management, supplier management, cost accounting and project accounting functions.
Business Need:
Client wanted a vendor who has significant experience, exposure and expertise in code deployment and environment support in multi-staged environments that include user acceptance, performance, pre-production, and disaster recovery environments to manage, support and coordinate activities related to environment changes for testing and releases.
Selected vendor should review and provide feedback on appropriate project deliverables such as Implementation Plan, Transition Plan, Systems Operations Plan and ensure adherence to release management processes and tasks as documented in the approved project deliverables.
